Aim and Scope
Plant & Crop Letters is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal devoted to the rapid publication of short, high-quality communications, data notes, and concise research articles across the plant and crop sciences. The journal provides a global platform for the prompt dissemination of novel findings that advance understanding of plant biology, crop improvement, and sustainable agricultural systems.
The journal welcomes brief yet significant contributions covering - but not limited to - the following areas:
- Physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology of plants and crops
- Breeding, genetics, and genomics of major and underutilized crops
- Biotic and abiotic stress responses and tolerance mechanisms
- Plant-microbe and plant-environment interactions
- Agronomic innovations, crop management, and resource use efficiency
- Biotechnology, gene editing, and omics-based discoveries
- Climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable production systems
Submissions should present clear, concise, and well-supported results of broad interest to the plant and crop science community. Plant & Crop Letters particularly encourages rapid communications of emerging techniques, preliminary but impactful findings, and interdisciplinary studies that bridge basic and applied research.
